Connecting Members
The League’s council programs are designed to give an ongoing, formal way for you to connect with other people performing similar roles at their credit union. These councils are member-driven and intended to help facilitate networking, best practices and learning. Please contact Jennifer Esser for more information.
Council Membership is $49 per member annually and includes the following special access and discounts:
- Discount of 10% off League-hosted events specific to each council, this discount does not apply to third-party webinars.
- Private group in commUNITY to share ideas, documents, and best practices.
- Past recordings, materials, and resources applicable to the council.
- Each council offers a minimum of 2 webinars per year.
- Opportunity for appointment to council committee role to build content for webinars and to drive conversations in private commUNITY group.
Collections Council
All professionals who have or share responsibility for Collections functions at their League-member credit unions are welcome to join. Connect with other Collections Council members to share best practices and gain access to a member-generated library of Wisconsin specific documents & regulations.
HR Council
All professionals who have or share responsibility for HR functions at their League-member credit unions are welcome to join. Connect with other HR Council members to share best practices and gain access to a member-generated library of Wisconsin-specific HR forms and policies.

Open to all staff of League-member credit unions who are looking to expand their peer network, make connections for professional & personal growth, and explore pathways to leadership.

Business Lending Council – Paused in 2026
Providing valuable leadership and resources to strengthen and grow business lending for Wisconsin credit unions. Council Membership is open to any League-affiliated credit union employee or volunteer.
CFO Council – Paused in 2026
Providing networking space and strategic conversations to strengthen FWBFA for Wisconsin’s credit unions and their members.
